From the Job Site to the C-Suite: SPFA Launches Foam-It-Right® Podcast to Unify and Elevate the Spray Foam Industry
FAIRFAX, VA – The Spray Polyurethane Foam Alliance (SPFA) is equipping the spray foam community with a new mobile resource: Foam-It-Right®, the association's first official podcast. Hosted by SPFA’s Executive Director, Frank Mortl III, and Membership Development Manager, Eddie Canales, this monthly series provides contractors, manufacturers, and stakeholders with a direct line to industry experts, helping them stay connected and informed during their commute between job sites.
"This podcast highlights the interconnectedness of the SPF industry," says Frank Mortl III, CAE, SPFA Executive Director. "We are creating a space where learning from one another drives broad economic growth for every contractor, because a rising tide truly lifts all ships."
The podcast delivers high-level technical and business strategy in episodes under one hour—perfect for the busy professional on the move. With at least six episodes planned for the first year, Foam-It-Right® bridges the gap between field work and the latest industry developments.
The inaugural episode, "What’s New, What’s Next: A Look Ahead at SprayFoam 2026," serves as a strategic guide to the upcoming SPFA SprayFoam Convention & Expo in Las Vegas, helping attendees maximize their professional experience by navigating networking opportunities and educational tracks effectively.
Future episodes will tackle the most critical issues facing the industry today:
- Technical Services – Outlining jobsite best practices, including documentation, record keeping, estimating accuracy, and installation quality.
- Legislative Impacts — Breaking down state and federal building codes through the lens of Government Affairs.
- A-Value — Simplifying thermal resistance and critical air barrier performance into actionable metrics.
- Industry Certifications — Demonstrating how the Professional Certification Program (PCP) directly strengthens a contractor’s bottom line.
- Operational Excellence — Elevating the trade by connecting listeners with sophisticated business strategies and best-in-class contractor peers.
Foam-It-Right® joins the SPFA’s suite of digital tools, including the bi-weekly eNewsletter and quarterly magazine, ensuring members have the insights they need to sharpen their skills and grow their businesses.
